    Sustaining a scholarship programme to the undergraduates, who come from financially underprivileged backgrounds, in order to assist them in successfully accomplishing their academic goals is a core objective of the existence of the Students’ Society.

  • Bess Printing Shop

    BESS currently maintains a set of computers, printers and digital photo- copy machines in order to assist the academic activities of the students.

  • Welfare

    BESS ensures the welfare of students of Department of Building Economics, by representing the interests of students whenever necessary.

  • Guidance

    While advancing on identifying the ways to provide facilities to students, BESS is looking for opportunities to provide academic support and to do career guidance to passing out graduates in Quantity Surveying and Facilities Management. In addition to that, BESS facilitates printing books which are very much essential for the academic lessons and distributes them among the undergraduates. Every year, Building Economics Students’ Society donates a rare collection of books to the Department of Building Economics Resource Room.

    Fulfilling the social responsibility of a student to become respectable citizens of the society, BESS carries out charity projects to help the society outside the university.
